Peret grabó sus primeras canciones hace 50 años, sin saber que acabaría creando un nuevo género musical, “la Rumba Catalana”. Con ella dio la vuelta al mundo, ahora es parte de la memoria colectiva de la música latina. Un referente para varias generaciones, y las que vengan. PERET recorded his first songs in the 50ties, not knowing that he was about to create a new musical genre: CATALAN RUMBA. His songs started travelling around the world as a fashion, developed into a musical genre and are now part of the collective memory of Latin music. A reference for various, and future, generations. Mambo, rock, flamenco and son shaped a young generation that worshipped Elvis Presley and Perez Prado.
