Conclusive direct, fresh songs, daring and heartfelt lyrics… this is the introduction letter of “La Selva Sur”, one of the most promising groups among the crossbreeding music in Spain that does its own interpretation of this music style combining swing, reggae, ska and even balcan melodies with afro-latin rhythms, all perfumed with a real Andalusia aroma.  An authentic “music transfusion” that links music and party with an original and optimistic language.

“La Selva Sur” is… a mysterious enclave located somewhere between Northern Africa and Southern Europe, a place where traditional sounds from the most recondite and diverse locations flow and converge. There we can find a tribe of musicians that wants to merge, in an organic way, these sounds and styles with the aim of sending the world a message of hope and positive energy.

Un directo potente, temas frescos y optimistas, letras sinceras y comprometidas, está es la carta de presentación de La Selva Sur, grupo que nace en Sevilla a finales de 2005 germinado por miembros de distintos proyectos tan importantes como heterogéneos de la escena sevillana,  tales como O’funkillo, Falso Dogma, Rare Folk o Las Niñas.

Estilísticamente ecléctico, muy cuidadoso en lo musical, La Selva Sur hace su propia relectura de la música mestiza,  donde dan cabida al swing, al reegae, al ska, a las melodías balcánicas con ritmos afro-latinos y todo ello perfumado con un el aroma más sureño, auténtica ‘transfusión musical’ que une música y fiesta con un lenguaje propio y  optimista.
